01Who this policy covers

This policy applies to PartnerPips.com (“PartnerPips”, “we”, “us”), and to personal information we handle through this website — principally the partnership enquiry form and the technical data your browser sends when you visit.

PartnerPips operates a partnership and Introducing Broker network. We are the controller of the personal information described here, meaning we decide why and how it is processed. Where we pass your details to a broker or partner at your request, that organisation becomes a controller in its own right and handles your information under its own privacy policy.

02Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you give us, and what your browser sends automatically.

Information you provide

When you submit the partnership enquiry form we collect the fields you complete:

• Full name
• Company or trading name, where given
• Email address
• Country, where given
• Partner type — broker, Introducing Broker, affiliate, trading community, financial marketer or other
• The content of your message, and anything else you choose to include in it

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever the message contains.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records technical data when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, the date and time of the request, the pages requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use this for security, troubleshooting and to keep the site available.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want financial account details, trading account credentials, passwords, identity documents, or payment card information. Please do not send these to us. We do not knowingly collect special category data such as health, political opinions or biometric information.

03How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your partnership enquiry and correspond with you about it
• Assess whether there is a sensible fit between what you are building and the opportunities in our network
• Introduce you to brokers or partners where you have asked us to, or agreed that we should
• Negotiate, enter into and administer any partnership arrangement that follows
• Keep records of who we have spoken to and what was agreed
• Operate, secure, monitor and improve the website
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations that apply to us

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

04Our legal bases for using it

Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated, running and developing our partnership network, and keeping our site secure. We have considered your interests and rights and believe this processing is what you would reasonably expect when contacting a partnership network.
• Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one — where we are discussing or operating a partnership arrangement with you.
• Consent — where we introduce you to a specific broker or partner, and for any non-essential storage such as analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time; doing so does not affect processing already carried out.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.

Because our enquiry form is aimed at businesses and professional partners rather than consumers, the information we hold is generally business contact information.

05Who we share it with

We share personal information only where there is a reason to:

• Brokers and partners in the network — where you have asked for an introduction or agreed that we may make one. We tell you who we are introducing you to. Once introduced, that organisation handles your information under its own policy.
• Service providers — the suppliers who host the site, deliver our email and store our business records. They act on our instructions and may only use the information to provide their service to us.
• Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants and auditors, where genuinely needed.
• Authorities and legal process — where we are required to disclose information by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• A successor — if our business or its assets are reorganised, transferred or acquired, information may pass to the acquiring entity subject to this policy.

We do not make an introduction to a broker or partner without your knowledge.

06International transfers

PartnerPips operates an international network, and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or European Economic Area to a country that has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, we put an appropriate safeguard in place — normally the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — together with any additional measures the transfer requires.

07How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to hold it.

• Enquiries that do not lead to a partnership — normally up to 24 months from our last contact with you, so we can pick up the conversation if circumstances change, then deleted.
• Active partner relationships — for the life of the relationship, and afterwards for as long as needed to deal with any claim or legal obligation arising from it.
• Records we must keep by law — for the period the relevant law requires.
• Website technical logs — a short period, typically no more than 12 months, for security and diagnostics.

When a retention period ends we delete the information or irreversibly anonymise it.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

• Access — to be told whether we hold information about you and to receive a copy of it
• Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
• Erasure — to have information deleted where there is no good reason for us to keep it
• Restriction — to ask us to pause our use of information in certain circumstances
• Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time
• Portability — to receive information you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format
• Withdrawal of consent — where our processing relies on consent

To exercise any of these, email us at privacy@partnerpips.com. We will respond within one month, and will tell you if we need longer because the request is complex. We may need to verify your identity first. Exercising these rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA it is the supervisory authority for your country of residence or place of work. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

09How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold: encrypted connections to this website, access controls limiting who on our side can see enquiry data, and suppliers selected for their security posture.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us account credentials, identity documents or payment details through this website or by email.

10Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses and professional partners. They are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Cookies and browser storage

This site uses a small amount of browser storage rather than tracking cookies, and asks for your consent before any non-essential storage is used. Our Cookie Policy explains exactly what is stored, why, and how to change your choice.

12Third-party services and links

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. Google states that it does not use these requests to build advertising profiles. No other third-party service receives your data through normal browsing of this site.

Our pages link to broker and partner websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any site we link to, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

13Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly where we reasonably can. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
